Acapulco, the Queen of the Mexican Riviera, is bordered by the sparkling Acapulco Bay and the majestic Sierra Madre mountains . Even more amazing is watching their apprentices – their small children – fearlessly climb halfway up the cliff and dive into the sea. Just remarkable!
Whether you are looking for fun or solitude, there is a beach for you along the 20-mile stretch of the Sea of Cortez. Water sports include swimming, surfing, jet-skiing, water-skiing, windsurfing, sailing, snorkeling, parasailing, diving, and bungee jumping. Acapulco is one of the best sport fishing destinations on the Pacific. In particular, marlin or sailfish are Acapulco's trademark. Big game fishing for shark, mahi mahi, or yellowfin tuna can be done year-round. For those who like lighter tackle, there is also excellent small game fishing for bonito, jacks, or Spanish mackerel .
